Wow! I'm a Winner! #award #SFWG

Tomorrow the big announcement will be made on the Short Fiction Writers Guild, but I'm sharing the secret with you today!  Recently I entered the SFWG romance contest. The criteria was:

• Entries have a limit of 17,500 words. Stories beyond that will not be considered.
• Stories may be previously published.
• The genre is restricted to any romance subgenre.  Pure erotica will not be accepted.  Erotic romance IS accepted so long as the romance is the central plot.

I entered the contest and found out yesterday that A Christmas Accident won third place. I know it didn't win first place, but I'm so excited that it won. Finally my writing is getting recognized. 


This story is one that I just had to tell! It was loosely based on a true story. The person did wake up when the family priest died. A Christmas Accident is a part of my Wilder Sisters Series about five daughters who left their hometown of Amherst, Ohio after high school only to return and face some of the toughest events of their lives.
