Love or Royal Responsiblities #cover_reveal

8/25/2022

Picture
There is something about a commoner finding love with royalty. We are fascinated by the story. Just think about how many American's watched the wedding of Meghan Markle to Prince Harry.

Even the splendor of a royal wedding isn't with out it's responsibilities, especially with royalty. There are criteria to follow. Meaning behind each part of the ceremony, from who is invited to the colors of the wedding party.

Escape... elopement must be on their mind- even just a little. Those responsibilities are overwhelming!

Kristine Lynn has woven a romantic story of two royals who seek to escape their duties and fall in love. Too bad for them that they can't really escape. The responsibilities come back to get in the way of their relationship.

REUNITING WITH HER PRINCE is the third book in the Aldonia Royals series and features the same compelling story and incredible characters that Kristine Lynn is known for. Now up for preorder, REUNITING WITH HER PRINCE will be released in ebook and print on Sept 20th. So grab a copy for yourself.

Blurb:
Royal responsibilities have never been such a liability for these monarchs-in-disguise!
When Lissa runs away from the unthinkable fate that awaits her as Princess of Aldonia, a stranger she meets is just the distraction she’s looking for—hot as sin, and sexy as hell. Yep, he’ll help her forget all about her troubles. If only she could forget about him when it’s time for her to return to Aldonia…

… and marry a prince she’s never met in order to keep her family out of crippling debt!

Gael was doing some running away of his own when he met Lissa. He just doesn’t see the need for pedantic practices like arranged marriages anymore, which is what’s awaiting him when he returns to Spain. He wants to marry for love, a possibility he hadn’t considered before meeting Lissa.

So, he gives up the throne to track her down, and sets in motion a cruel twist of fate neither of them could have anticipated. Because the next time he sees Lissa, the woman of his dreams, she’s walking down the aisle to marry the new Galician Prince--his younger brother!

Will the two star-crossed lovers ever find a way out of the royal mess they’re in so they can finally be together?

Reviews for Kristine Lynn’s books:
Readers love Kristine’s writing and “can’t put her books down”. “This crazy world can make me sad sometimes, but a story like this makes my heart happy. The author writes with first-hand knowledge of true love.” -Amazon Review

First Love and Big Secrets! #newrelease #newromance

8/22/2022

Picture
Love and Secrets often go hand in hand. Little white lies or big "hush-hush" things, we keep certain things from our dates. I know that it took me years and a marriage to be able to share some of my secrets with my husband. With big secrets, we aren't sure how others will respond or if our relationship will survive....

In Julie Navickas' new release- I LOVED YOU YESTERDAY- secrets become between Mavis and Austin when they take a second chance on love. Both have things they are afraid to tell the other person, feeling that they would become deal breakers. Yet, as they keep the secrets hidden... the risk becomes higher.

Blurb:
Secrets always have a way of coming out.

Mavis Benson made a huge mistake. Scratch that--colossal mistake. Twice. Sleeping with her high school sweetheart’s twin brother definitely wasn’t part of the plan… nor was falling in love with him.

But that wasn’t the only complication Mavis faced. When an unplanned pregnancy upends her life at seventeen, Mavis skips town to spare her boyfriend, Josh Templeton, from the fallout. With only a letter of apology, she disappears, but not before confiding her secret to Josh’s brother, Austin.

When Austin resurfaces in her life years later, he brings the past to Mavis’s doorstep. Josh wants her back, Austin isn’t willing to surrender, and the path to happiness isn’t clear. Caught between both men, Mavis must choose between the brother for whom she broke her own heart, and the brother who picked up the pieces.

I LOVED YOU YESTERDAY is a heart-pounding reveal of best kept secrets. The truth is never easy, and neither is putting down this page turner. Fans of Nora Roberts and K.G. Fletcher will want to get a copy of I LOVED YOU YESTERDAY.

~Winner of the ASSOCIATION FOR WOMEN IN COMMUNICATIONS CLARION AWARD.~

EXCERPT:
Austin pulled back, his breathing heavy. The cologne on the collar of his shirt intertwined with the scent of coffee—sandalwood and Columbian coffee beans fusing in her nostrils.

Mavis opened her eyes, meeting his icy blue gaze six inches away. She stared, finding more in his eyes than she’d ever witnessed before—more than the passion that fueled their relationship.
“My brother sees you as the same girl he loved back in high school,” he whispered. “He wants you to move home, into his house, and ready to bake cookies with a ring on your finger. He’ll pretend the last ten years never happened.”

She pressed a hand over his chest, pushing to increase the distance, but his hold held firm. “Austin…”

“I see you, Princess, the new you. The you that survived. That’s the woman I want, the one who hops on a plane in the middle of the night. The one who loses bets and puts herself out into the world. The one who solves problems, and figures shit out, never one to admit defeat. I want the woman who thrives.” His hand pressed hers into the beat of his heart. “That’s the woman I want, the one I fell in love with in a hotel room in Chicago.”

Her lungs didn’t want to work, each breath held captive in her throat. The love spell he’d cast dizzied her brain, fogging her ability to think. She blinked, staring blankly at the profession of love tumbling from his lips—from the lips of her friend turned… lover?

“You don’t love me, Austin,” she mumbled, pushing away from the hold he held over her.

His eyes closed, releasing her from the challenge. “The hell I don’t, Mavs.” He slumped in his seat, his fingers kneading his forehead. “You let Josh love you because he loves the memory of you, a girl you used to like.” He snorted. “But me? You can’t even fathom my feelings for you because you don’t love yourself as you are today.” He pointed to her, his finger shaking. “And until you realize how fucking incredible you are…”

Vampires...Oh My!! #new_release

8/8/2022

Picture
It seems like everyone loves Vampires these days. With the new adaptation of Anne Rice's Lesat and the finale of The Vampire Diaries, Vampires are popular once more. But what if you became one? How would you handle it?

In Nicole Sobon's release, THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES is a wonderfully compelling story about a young woman who has only been taught to fight vampires. They are all that is wrong in the world. Then one day... the unthinkable happens...she gets bitten.

Harley begins to learn more about herself and the leaders who put her to work killing vampires. Not everything is what it seems.

This story will hold your attention and keep you up reading. A must for fans of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Blurb:
Harley Sanders has always known one certainty in life: Vampires suck.

As a student at the League, Harley is expected to protect the innocent from the undead, even if her methods might be considered reckless.

While out on a hunt, Harley finds herself face-to-face with the enemy, and in the midst of fighting, ends up becoming the one thing she’s been trained to kill.

A fact only made worse by the newest student of the League who has taken a keen interest in her out of the blue.

Vampire bite? Check.
Venom soaring through my veins? Check.
Annoying cute guy disrupting my life? Super check.

High school definitely bites.

THANKS FOR THE VENOM is a Buffy/Underworld Mash-up where Harley Sanders must face a wall of secrets…from her family, from her bosses, and from the one boy she’s interested in. With newfound powers and a bullseye on her back, she’s got to help the very people she’d been trained to kill. And you thought your high school experience was bad…You’ve got nothing on Harley!

Excerpt:
“Harley, if you’re asking me to marry you, I’m afraid I must say no,” he joked. “I mean, we hardly know each other, and you haven’t even bothered to ask my parents for my hand.”

“Will you shut up?” As much as I didn’t want to laugh, I failed. That was the good thing about Drake. He could be annoying, sure, but he knew how to lighten the mood when things became tense. “I’m being serious, Drake.”

“Okay, then shoot.”

“Are you like me?” As the words escaped my lips, I felt a weight lift off my shoulders.

“What do you think?”

“Answering a question with a question doesn’t work,” I answered. “And I think you are.”

“Well, then, you can rest assured knowing you’re right.” He shrugged as he turned the chair around to properly face me. “Although, I do believe I wasn’t supposed to tell you as much just yet.”

“Was my father behind this?”

Drake shook his head no. “The League—more specifically, the Council—had nothing to do with my arrival,” he assured me. “I came here for you, yes, but only because the clan of the vampire you killed is looking for you. And while you might not believe it, I’m your best chance at survival.”

Erotic Paranormal Romance

 UNIVERSAL LINK

Blurb:

A hotter-than-sin reaper. A badass demon. Hell doesn’t get steamier than this.

Zekiel owns the newest nightclub in the French Quarter. The decadent atmosphere draws the corrupt, their blackened souls just what he likes to reap.

Jewel is not amused. Not only has Zekiel cut in on her territory, Satan’s gotten hardcore, upping her quota. All hell’s going to break loose if mortals don’t start selling their souls to her.

The race is on. Zekiel claims victory and wants Jewel as his prize for one evening. Nothing forbidden. Nothing denied. In other words, the whole enchilada, including voyeurism and BDSM.

After the first promising look and lingering touch, they’re goners…even though they’re supposed to be competitors.

This book was previously published in a box set.

EXCERPT:

He brushed his lips over her ear. “Are you challenging me?”

She was a hot mess, unable to do anything except submit. His breath was fresh and warm, his muscles harder than stone. “Challenge you to what?” Us doing the horizontal tango? Bondage? Punishment?

“To see who can claim a soul faster. You seem to think you can.” He snuggled his tongue into her ear.

Jewel shivered. Her knees bumped his. “Not seem. Know. What happens when I win?”

He laughed, his chest and hard stomach quivering.

She should have slugged him but couldn’t find the strength. His beard-roughened cheek scoured hers in the best possible way. Never again would she consider reapers loathsome creatures worse than pond scum. However, he had still horned in on her turf. That deserved retaliation.

She broke free from his grip and stroked his inner arm.

He trembled.

She purred. “What’s the matter, baby? Afraid of real competition?”

He eased back slightly. Charcoal locks dangled over his forehead, begging her to ease them into place.

She resisted.

His dimpled smile returned. “Are you serious? Competition from you?”

Certainly not from other reapers who usually resembled Lurch in that ancient TV show The Addams Family. Even if those guys hadn’t owned the kiss of death, their looks alone sent mortals scurrying for cover. “How about we give it a try?” She shoved him off her. “When I win, I’ll determine your new role at this place.”

“When you win? I’d say ‘if’ isn’t even close.” He bent down until their noses nearly touched. “Want to know what I want when you lose?”

Her expelled from here and roaming New Orleans like a whipped dog, desperately scouring the surroundings for mortals to corrupt so she’d make this month’s quota. If that didn’t happen, Satan might renege on the one promise he’d made her. The reason she’d willingly sold her soul when she shouldn’t have.

Love hadn’t given her a choice.

She shook off the unchangeable past and steeled for battle. “I don’t care what you want, because my losing to you won’t happen. The second I win, I want full access to this place from midnight to seven a.m.”

“My operating hours.”

“Bingo. I expect you to round up the most likely candidates and let me do my thing. No hassle or interference. It’s only right given that you’re trespassing in my hood.”

He played with the top bow on her bustier. “Sure you don’t want to hear what happens when I win?”

She brushed his hand away. “Shall we begin?”

“Fine with me.” He tugged the ribbon, untying it.

Jewel leaned into his touch then stopped and pulled away. “We’re wasting time.” Satan wasn’t going to wait forever for her newest report. “Good luck.”

“Thanks, but you’re the one who’s going to need it.” He ignored her offered hand and swung his to the side, touching a twentysomething guy who strolled up. He sported thick Goth makeup. Metal studs dotted his face in a haphazard pattern.

With Zekiel’s touch, the young man turned whiter than nature or Revlon allowed, clutched his chest, and dropped to the floor.

The guys behind him giggled drunkenly and stepped over his corpse to leave the club.

Zekiel blew on his forefinger as one would a smoking gun. “Wow. Looks like I win.”

She gestured frantically. “Bring him back. He’s too young to die. He’s not even corrupt.” Despite his macabre appearance, his soul smelled of sunshine and hope.

Zekiel regarded the poor slob. “What do I get if I do?”

“Fine, reap him.” She crossed her arms. “I’ll even call 911 for them to collect the remains. I’m not leaving without my quota.”

He muttered something that sounded nasty and revived the young man.

The kid teetered to his feet and blinked repeatedly. “I just saw Heaven.”

Jewel rubbed her temple.

“It was beautiful.” He bounced on his heels. “I wanna go back.”

“Maybe tomorrow night.” Zekiel waved his hand.

The gust that produced whizzed the kid to the exit and out the door.

Zekiel faced her. “Seems like you need me to take a handicap to make our competition remotely fair.”

“Fair would be you taking off and letting me have this place.”

Laughter shook him. “Tell you what, you pick the victim.”

“Not until I know you won’t touch him until I’ve closed the deal.”

“That’s giving away the keys to the castle.”

She stroked his throat, enjoying how hard he swallowed. “Would it be so bad if I won?”

About Tina:

Tina’s an Amazon and international bestselling novelist who writes passionate romance for every taste – ‘heat with heart’ – for traditional publishers and indie. Booklist, Publisher’s Weekly, Romantic Times and numerous online sites have praised her work. She’s won Readers’ Choice Awards, was named a finalist in the EPIC competition, received a Book of the Year award, The Golden Nib Award, awards of merit in the RWA Holt Medallion competitions, and second place in the NEC RWA contests. She’s featured in the Novel & Short Story Writer’s Market. Before penning romances, she worked at a major Hollywood production company in Story Direction.

On a less serious note: she’s an admitted and unrepentant chocoholic, brakes for Mexican restaurants, and has been known to moan like Meg Ryan in When Harry Met Sally while wolfing down tostadas. She’s flown a single-engine airplane (freaking scary), rewired an old house using an ‘electricity for dummies’ book, and is horribly shy despite the hot romances she writes.
