 What are your favorite type of fireworks? Do you like the big shows or the more simple sparklers? Share your favorites! Fireworks are a beautiful sight. Fireworks can have many key parts including noise, smoke, light, floating materials, etc. Typically they’re red, yellow, green,orange, blue, purple, and silver. Some cool effects include: peony, crossette, bengal fire, kamuro, ground bloom flower, and multi-break shells. I love the BIG displays. Every year there is a big display at the Rose Bowl and we can see it from our front yard. We do go to the Rose Bowl some years to sit in the stands and watch it from there. They have some of the local high schools bands play and it is a happy time for all.

My favorite fireworks ever was the year I was in Washington DC on the 4th, and got to watch them coming up over the Potomac River.

I love the big displays. Especially the ones that after the first explosion they keep breaking down into smaller pops.

I love to see the big displays and the finale... it's always breathtaking. It's especially nice to see the reflection they make in the river!

I'm fortunate to live near a city that does a 3day firework fest over the water. The huge ones are breathtaking, but I love when there are a lot of smaller multiple ones ;)

I love the one they have come out with that are shapes, hearts and smiles I also like the really sparkly ones.

I love the big, colorful fireworks. But I also love watching my young nephews enjoy blaying with sparklers.

I grew up in a big city across the river from Manhattan. From the back windows in our apartment, we watched the Twin Towers being built--rising skyward. It was a great spot from which to view the annual NYC fireworks...so my memories are of a BIG show.

I live across the river from St. Louis and get to see the amazing display every year. My favorites are the ones that flash then go "BOOM". Just bright and loud like me.!
