What if you were able to go back in time? You knew you were in your past...would you be able to resist changing things? What if by changing things you changed your future?

I often wonder about this for myself. I didn't always make good choices in the past. The ability to change things is very tempting but I wouldn't want to give up the wonderful things in my life, like my children and my husband. Who knows just what any outcomes would be.

Two characters in Clara Winter's Dark Star face just that question. The group of immortals have angered someone they shouldn't have and now they face the consequences. Dark Star is the compelling final book in the Immortal Kindred series about vampires, witches and demon hunters. Living for a long time have given these characters a unique perspective on life and love.

Now available in ebook and print, you won't want to miss this amazing story!

Blurb:
The compelling final story in the enchanting series which began with Deepest Midnight….

The Immortal Kindred gather together as chaos erupts. Two of their own have gone missing, sucked back in time. Vampire demigod Selene messed with the wrong goddess of death. Now they’re all in danger.

Millicent and Annie come face to face with the distant past. No longer immortal, they must draw on their inner strength to see them through travails long thought dead and buried.

Tash, the witch, draws on every spell he knows to bring the women home as he taps into the power of the dark star. Will it be enough to grant the immortals their happily ever after? Will the goddess, Nephthys, put an end to everything they know and love?

Dark Star is an epic adventure that will take you all over the globe and through time itself.

EXCERPT:

Something was happening. The air around us swirled as if a tornado were forming. I caught a glimpse of golden hair and cried out. I could just see the form of Millicent, materializing mere feet from me. I wanted to run to her and pull her fully into the present, but I was stuck in my place by the torrent of wind.

In a loud peel of thunder, Nephthys was there. She stood tall and beautiful, her gold net dress glinting in the moonlight. Under the sway of Tash’s melodic chanting, I swayed on my feet. It took me several beats to realize this was the actual goddess standing in front of us. The others must have been entranced, as well. We were all frozen in a druglike stupor.

Then, everything happened too fast. Nephthys flung out her arms toward Tash. A fireball, large and flaming hot, appeared in her hand. “I’ll end you, then I’ll destroy the only means you have to ever get them back.”

My head snapped from Nephthys to the streak my sister made as she bolted across the clearing. She never saw Selene coming. Selene pounded into her, knocking the goddess down hard into the rocky ground.
