If you could go back in time to when you were seven years old, what wisdom or advice would you pass on to yourself?
I would tell myself to enjoy life and not worry about trying to hide who I am. I realize that life is different now than it was back then, but I know that I would be happier if I hadn’t felt the need to hide my desire for other women.
For what are you grateful?
Every day I’m grateful for my family who accepts me for who I am. They don’t judge or question. My sister, Syn, is one of my best friends and she is a great sounding board when I’m upset or frustrated. I can always count on my family to have my back.
After a difficult day what do you do to recuperate? Does it work?
I’m a gym girl. I love working out after a long day and it really does help me reset my mind. I can get on the elipical or treadmill and run miles until my body is exhausted and my mind is empty. Of course, I’d much rather enjoy running in nature but the weather in Baltimore doesn’t always allow it. J
