With the economy's downturn, I'm very fortunate to have a full-time job that recognizes the hard work and dedication that I put into it. My job is a very demanding one. I work a full week, often arriving at work by 7:30 and don't leave until 4:30 or 5:00. As an elementary teacher, I keep in touch with my families and do everything I can to individualize my students' education to best suit their needs. While I spend over 8 hours a day at work, my job doesn't end when I leave school. This past weekend, we had a major fundraiser for my school. The night was magical and certainly fun-filled as I was able to visit with former students' parents and my co-workers. But I have to tell you, it's the coworkers that make my job, less of a job and more of a passion. These people are a wonderful group to have at your back. Just look at the picture....wouldn't you want us caring for your children? :) Thanks gang! You all rock!
