Have you ever thought about all the guys that Taylor Swift has written songs about? Supposedly she has written songs about the guys she broke up with. I love her music but I haven't been able to put two and two together and figure out which song is about who.

The main character in SUNSET ON US by Gia Stone is a songwriter like Taylor and all her songs but one are written about the same person- her high school sweetheart. SUNSET ON US is a wonderful read about two people who broke up but get a second chance. I love stories like this because I believe in second chances. The best part of all in SUNSET ON US is the way Author Gia Stone weaves a bit of a mystery into the story. I couldn't put the book down!!

Out now SUNSET ON US is a book you will want to grab for yourself. But let me share a little sneak peek into the amazing story.

Blurb:
Every song was about him, except one.
Are broken promises worse than unspoken truths?

Cheyenne Ford left the small-town life of Cut and Shoot, with no intention to return. Ever. The pieces of broken gravel that flicked from her tires were not the only things she ran over with her exit.

Ten years later and still the sight of her bright red hair tore into Colt Clayburne’s soul. He was not going to let her leave him again. He wouldn’t be another song for her next album. Colt promised himself he wouldn’t tend to a broken heart again.

Broken hearts can mend, but painful secrets are not the same as broken promises.

SUNSET ON US is a second chance romance filled with a secretive past, broken hearts, and songs that made Cheyenne Ford a household name in the Country Music circuit. Fans of Tessa Bailey and Carly Phillips’ romances will love the emotional journey of Cheyenne Ford as she strives to do the right thing, even if it means walking away from the only thing she loved.

EXCERPT:
Her chest was like a fire with singed skin that traced around her lungs. She could breathe once they were out of the parking lot.

“I’m concerned about the concert,” Jamison said, his eyes focused on the road.

Cheyenne jerked her head back. Jamison was never concerned with things. Or if he was, he wouldn’t let on. And definitely, not to Cheyenne.

“About what?” Cheyenne glared at Jamison’s biceps. They bulged through his shirt. He must have worked his upper body today. Cheyenne let her eyes run up to his neck. His jugular vein was in full pulsation mode. This was not good.

“Security. We need to have more people. The Houston crowd can get a little out of hand. Your last album crossed over into the pop market, and that brings a mix of characters.” He merged onto the highway as if he was in a getaway car. No traffic laws were broken, but his moves were not his standard smooth disposition.

“Was there another letter?” The hairs along the back of her neck pricked up. It had been at least a month since the last one had been received. The police were still on the case, but Cheyenne had her doubts about what that meant. So far nothing had happened, but that didn’t stop the visual of the words that flashed through her mind. Jamison had tried to keep it from her, and would have been successful had Katie not seen it in the mailbag and shown it to her. They’d both screamed. It was so nasty. Jamison had run into the room, furious. This was the third letter. The other two had already been handed over to the police.

“I want to up the security.”

Cheyenne’s chest tightened. “Was it like the other one?”
