I hope you don’t mind cinnamon rolls.” Sienna reached out to take one of the delectable-looking buns, but Connor pulled the tray just out of reach. “Oh no, not yet. We’re taking these babies on the road.” Confused, Sienna asked, “On the road?” Connor stood, balancing the tray in one hand and reached for Sienna with the other. He pulled her up and then draped his arm around her. Even with the heavenly aroma of cinnamon, she couldn’t miss the distinctive smell of pine that followed Connor everywhere. Nestling into his side, she savored his closeness. He was as warm and fragrant as a campfire.
