It starts usually right after Halloween. The holiday books arrive!! We spend November and December reading tales filled with snow, santas and decorations! One of my new favorite books is SNOW IN LOVE. It features enemies who find that they have more in common than they thought. But it's the cute way that the hero woos the heroine with holiday moments that made me fall for him. You'll have to check out this amazing tale for yourself!! Blurb: The slopes are heating up this holiday season! Skiing’s golden girl finds love this Christmas when she falls for the sport’s bad boy. Christmas is Sienna Markum’s favorite time of year. From the tinsel and traditions to the down time with family, all Sienna wants is a break from training. The Paralympics are months away, and she’s set on winning Alpine gold. Connor Shoemaker has no plans for Christmas, other than train for the Paralympics. A motocross accident took one of his legs – and all of his confidence. Connor doesn’t think anything can get his old mojo back, until he meets Sienna. Sienna was told her training would be private, but soon, she starts to warm up to her new training partner. Bad boy Connor is more than meets the eye. When her Christmas plans fall through, Sienna finds the best present under the tree – Connor. But is Sienna willing to balance her training with a shot at love? Can Connor find his confidence again, off and on the slopes? Together, these two will learn there is more to life than skiing. And it looks a whole lot like love. Fans of sports romances like Icebreaker by Hannah Grace, and The Wall of Winnipeg and Me by Mariana Zapata will love the enemies to lovers and forced proximity tropes in Libby Kay’s books. SNOW IN LOVE will have you snuggling up and enjoying hot cocoa by the fire. A perfect cold weather read! EXCERPT: “What got you up so early, Captain Christmas?” Beaming, Connor leaned over the arm of the couch and retrieved a tray of fresh cinnamon rolls. “I bribed the staff to get us some food before they left for the holiday. I hope you don’t mind cinnamon rolls.” Sienna reached out to take one of the delectable-looking buns, but Connor pulled the tray just out of reach. “Oh no, not yet. We’re taking these babies on the road.” Confused, Sienna asked, “On the road?” Connor stood, balancing the tray in one hand and reached for Sienna with the other. He pulled her up and then draped his arm around her. Even with the heavenly aroma of cinnamon, she couldn’t miss the distinctive smell of pine that followed Connor everywhere. Nestling into his side, she savored his closeness. He was as warm and fragrant as a campfire. Guiding them to the patio doors, Connor motioned toward the balcony. “Well, not on the road, but I thought we’d take in the view with breakfast.” When Sienna opened the sliding door, she was greeted to a winter wonderland. The mountains were covered in a fresh dusting of snow, as white and fluffy as powdered sugar on beignets. The green branches of the evergreens peaked out, offering a splash of color in the otherwise pristine tableau. Usually, the sight of fresh powder had Sienna itching for her skis. But now, standing in the crisp air with a hot man—and an even hotter breakfast—beside her, she was content to enjoy the moment. “This is amazing.” Get Your Copy Here! |
