I am so excited to share with you one of my favorite upcoming books. Yes, I got to read it already and I love the character of Lily Drake. Like many of us single working moms, she puts her child first and dating is the last thing on her mind.
So when she asked me to come hang out and possibly win some of her swag... I was over the moon!
She asked us to talk about Vampires, who our favorite ones are and why we like them. At first, I couldn't think of just one! There are so many wonderful vampires from movies and books. Did I have to just pick one??
So I narrowed it down to one from a book and one from a movie. See, I can be accommodating!
My favorite vampire from a movie is the character of Dracula from the Van Helsing movie starring Hugh Jackman. I loved the idea of a man who was so determined to continue his line of progeny that he would kill others in order to bring his children to life. Now that is a real dad! Honestly, I did find him attractive and very domineering. But it was that idea that he was a family man first and foremost that tugged at my heartstrings. Too bad he was irredeemable and died!
My favorite vampire from a book is Jean Claude from the Anita Blake series by Laurell K. Hamilton. There is something about a man who knows what he wants. Jean Claude wants Anita and will do anything in order to make her his...including falling in love with her.
Funny how both my men are a little on the bad side... hmmmm....Anyway, don't forget to visit all the other blog sites for their thoughts and enter the contest to win!
For Lily Drake, slaying vampires is easy...Dating them is the hard part." Join the release party on Oct 5th at Inkspell Publishing website to find the Blog hop winners!

How do I become part of this group? And when will the contest start? Sounds fun. I have a book coming out in March 2013 through Inkspell called "Bewitched." Sort of ties in, not quite about vampires, but witches. I have a short story about a vampire written as a comedy piece. Don't know if that is helpful or not. Thanks

I didn't expect those answers from you! The Dracula one really threw me for a loop! Yet, Jean Claude... oh, I can get with that! Niiiice choice!
