Family- Can't Live with or without Them #new_release

During the pandemic, many of us were unable to see our loved ones. This was one of the hardest parts for me. I haven't seen my kids (yes, they are adults) in nine months. Now maybe there are times when I'm glad to have some time away from family. We all have those quirks, even the rich and famous or the people who work for them.

In Celia Mulder's sequel to Celebrity Spin Doctor, THE ISSUE WITH ANTONS, we learn more about the relationship between Lucille and Simon. He's left her in charge of his company for a while but now has returned. Trust me, there's some fun interactions between them, much like when my family gets together. Snarky and still loving!

Blurb:
Celebrity Spin Doctor, Simon Anton is back and ready to manage the hell out of some celebrity reputations. He has one problem – no one will work with him. When his one remaining client disappears following a cryptic rendezvous in a nightclub, Simon needs to find him or risk losing the business he’s worked so hard to build.

Tech company CEO JP Tanaka met a hot guy and lost him. When he does find Simon Anton again, he’s not letting the man get away. But Simon’s world is a very different place from his own and JP’s commitment to the budding relationship is tested at every turn.

Retrieving the missing celebrity will take the combined forces of multiple Antons, a boyfriend who is about to be an ex, an undercover private investigator, and a large bag of sex toys. But the biggest threat to their happiness isn’t Simon’s past, it’s Simon himself.

Simon undertakes the biggest spin of his career, convincing himself he’s not in love.

EXCERPT:
Lucille’s name under a photo of her giving him the finger flashed on the screen. Simon swiped to answer, gearing up to ask her how she’d put up with the pop stars for so long.

But Lucille, it seemed, had her own reasons for calling. “What the hell, Simon?”
“Well, hello to you too. What the hell what?” Simon looked at the tiny image of himself in the corner of the call. His hair was a mess and there was a small patch of stubble he hadn’t gotten shaved. What a disaster. And to think he’d gone out in public looking like this. He caught himself before he scowled. Scowling caused wrinkles and he didn’t do wrinkles.

“They’re getting married? Is this for real or some sick joke of yours?” Lucille’s whole face filled the screen, her hair in a ponytail and her face clean and makeup-free like she was preparing for bed.

Simon knew what she was talking about. The dread he felt when he was leaving Gio’s transformed into crushing defeat. Not that he was surprised news had traveled so fast or Lucille had heard already. It was the realization that this time, there may be no salvaging anything from the shitstorm-level disasters that were his clients. “It’s real.
