Falling in love should be easy, but when Dallas, a single mother has not one but two men vying for her attention, she has to decide what's important-  the Cowboy or the Lawyer.

Cowboy Promise is the second of the Howelton Texas series where Cowboys rule the day. Their strength and caring natures form unbreakable bonds with strong women.

Blurb:
When Dallas Royal is caught in a dangerous struggle with a drunk at the western dancehall where she bartends, handsome Texas cowboy, Cash Powers, rescues her. Though she hasn’t dated in years, the sexy Cash sets her pulse racing, and she accepts his invitation to dinner.

Dallas, a single mother, grew up poor. Unable to finish college due to her pregnancy, she yearns to finish her law degree, keeping her nose to the grindstone for years. Her weekend bar tending job funds her education account.

Ethan Keys, a good-looking lawyer at the firm where she works, finally entices her out on a date after years of failed attempts. Each man is aware that she’s seeing the other, and competition is fierce.

Will Dallas choose the wealthy, man-of-the-world lawyer or the strong, straightforward, caring cowboy? As one date follows the next, and emotions deepen, will Dallas’s inability to choose one over the other cause her to lose both?

Excerpt:
Slipping his hand into her curls, he explored every inch of her mouth with his soft kisses. Breasts tingling, she caressed his chest and kissed him back, wanting to be closer, to feel his body against hers. He eased her down on the cushions and nibbled her neck, drawing a hissing breath from her. Running her hands up his back, she searched for his mouth.

Ethan commanded, “Kiss me.”

Her heart pounded in response, and she complied.

He interlocked his fingers in hers and raised both arms above her head. “Harder, Dallas!”

Yearning for his lips, her pulse throbbing in her ears, she kissed him hard, biting his lower lip.

Brushing his mouth across hers, he smiled and pulled back. “Good.”

She gazed into his blue eyes and wondered what had just happened and why it had affected her so.

Praise of the book:
Janalyn Knight, author of Cowboy Refuge, returns with more hot cowboys in Cowboy Promise. Single mother Dallas Royle goes from being wary of men to being pursued by two hotties. The hard part of her dilemma is discovering whether the lawyer or the cowboy has truly won her heart. Another sweet romance with a bit of after-the-wedding-ceremony spiciness.  -  Suanne Schafer author of A Different Kind of Fire

About the Author:
Nobody knows sexy Texas cowboys like Janalyn. From an early age, she competed in rodeo, later working on a ten-thousand-acre cattle ranch, and these experiences lend an authenticity to her characters and stories. Janalyn is an avid supporter of the Brighter Days Horse Refuge and absolutely owns the title of wine drinker extraordinaire. When she’s not writing spicy cowboy romances, she’s living her dream—sharing her twenty-acres of Texas Hill Country with her daughters and their families.
