Today I'm excited to share another one of my favorite people's books with you. Holly Gill is a wonderful person and always generous with her time and help. So to return the favor, I put her in the hot seat! lol

Hello Holly and welcome to my blog.  I’m so excited to have you here today. I know that the readers are looking forward to learning more about you.  Please tell us a little about yourself.


I am a wife to Nigel of almost twenty years and a mum of three children Rhys, Victoria and Alisha. I live in Grimsby, England and work as a care assistant at a residential home and in my spare time I write erotic romantic novels. My writing career started when I was a young child I wrote simple romantic material and allowed my imagination to run away then when I was 19 started writing Erotic/Erotica romantic and fitted it around being a mum and wife and after twenty years my dream has come true of being a published author. In my spare time I like visiting my friends, listening to music, watching movies and travelling the English countryside.

Now onto some fun questions! If you could change one thing about our world, what would it be and why?

Wow there is so much I would change, not even sure where I would begin.

If you knew the exact date of your death down to the minute, what would you change about your life starting tomorrow?

Nothing as I put everything down to life experiences. I am a believer things happen for a reason, and wow does life set to try!!

When was the last time you felt alive? I mean really alive!

June, getting my first contract with Secret Cravings Publishing, receiving the e-mail to say we have accepted Desires for publication.

When was the last time you helped someone that was desperately in need? What did you do? Was this person grateful?

I am always helping and offering advise where I can, my best friend suffered a bad break up a few years ago and I dropped everything to be with her. Yes she was grateful and still is, always reminding me how I was there for her when she was at her all time low.

What television sitcom is most like your family? Why?

Not too sure to be honest, we are unique in ourselves.

What’s your favorite thing to do to relax?

I like to be driven around in the countryside and reading a book on my kindle.

Let’s find out a little bit about you as an author. Did you always want to be an author?

Yes, I have. It all started back in junior school. I loved writing essays and when given one I use to write pages, even got told by the teacher to write less… I never listened!

What authors had an impact on you growing up and as an adult?

I never had any!! I was not a reader at all in my younger days. I preferred writing. However, today I like all kinds of authors, I don’t have a particular one I follow.

Do you have any “must haves” with you while you’re writing?

Hot Juice… but always drink it when its cold!! Grapes have to have a punnet, I have lost three stone recently so the healthier the better.

What have you learned the most from being in the writing business?

Loads and still learning. I struggle more with keeping up with everyone when I work and hate being away. I am also learning more about myself and finally the real me is allowed to come out. After years of hiding away, I can finally come out the closet and be myself.

“Where would you begin?” she said, suddenly eager.

“That’s up to you. On your notes you said you liked your breasts being touched, maybe…totally up to you…but maybe we could begin there,” he said.

Stacie panicked. “You would see me?”

“That’s for you to decide. It would be better if I did, but it’s your choice, Stacie,” he said.

 Stacie’s sudden bravado fled. “May I use the bathroom?”

“Of course.”

Not wasting a second she headed into the stunning en-suite. She closed the door and pressed her back against it, feeling a total wreck.

Her head filled with concerns. She was wavering, not altogether sure of the right thing to do. Her breathing became rapid and panicky. She pushed herself off the door and sat down on the closed toilet lid, taking deep breaths to try to calm herself.

“Come on Stacie, sort yourself out. Yes, he’s gorgeous, nothing like you expected, but you’re paying for the session with him. This is a sex club. What did you expect?” she muttered to herself, keeping her voice low. She didn’t want him to hear her talking to herself. He probably already thought she was enough of a fruit loop.

Stacie headed over to the sink and stared at her own petrified face in the mirror.

“Right, girl.” She glared at herself right in the eye. “You’ve come here to get help. You either walk and be boring and alone for the rest of your life, or you have that nice young man out there teach you.” She gazed back at the bathroom door, with Dan the other side of it. Acid panic splashed about in her stomach, and a lump the size of Everest rose in her throat, but she knew what she had to do.

She squeezed her eyes shut and relished the brush of his hands on her flesh as he exposed her to his view. Stacie inhaled deeply, pushing out her chest toward him, knowing that he had full view of her cleavage bursting out of her sparkling bra.

Stacie placed her hands back on her breasts, squeezing and kneading the soft lush flesh. Her mind filled with flickering random images. Dan kissing her, Dan touching her, Dan making love to her while she screamed in ecstasy. How did you decide on your story plot?

It all started as I wanted to write about a sex club, and spent ages working out how I should compel the story without being just about horny people having sex constantly. It took me ages to work it out and then Stacie Clifford came to mind seeking help in re-educating herself sexually and the story unfolded from that.

How did you choose your characters names and location for your story?

I found images that fitted the characters on the internet. The names I picked by looking at the images and went with that and the location I wanted somewhere large enough to hold an exclusive sex club with period features and had enough rooms for all the fantasies, let alone accommodation to fulfil the guests of Desires.

Do you have a favorite scene? Why?

When Stacie first sees Dan!! Why? She imagined all kinds of bad things and what she didn’t like in a male, and when her eyes set on him, he was nothing like she visioned. Always makes me gulp.

Do you have a character that you identify with? Who and why?

Yes I do, Stacie and how she lacks self-confidence has hidden herself away, just being the person who is in the background and runs around doing everything for others and forgetting about herself.
