When is a wedding not enough? The couple at the center of Chasing Love have always loved each other, even from childhood but as their wedding approaches, they find more things that pull them apart.

I remember the stress from the months of planning my wedding. The conflict between what I wanted and what I could afford. Then the fear that I was doing the right thing, getting married at all. It was a lot to make anyone crazy.

Author Julie Navickas uses those stressors to show how love can move mountains. Rose and Cole know what they want, or at least they think they do. But as the day grows closer, they begin to question everything. Can love bring them together?

Chasing Love is the final book in the Clumsy Little Hearts trilogy but it can be read as a standalone. Then again, who would want to!!

Blurb:
Sometimes when the right man finds the right woman, things still aren’t quite right. Can a piece of paper fix it, or ruin it?

When Cole Johnson was eight years old, he married Rose Prescott. Never mind that the aisle was made of holiday table runners, she wore an old lace curtain, and her brother performed the ceremony in a musty basement.

Twenty-four years later, Cole is more in love than ever and ready to wed Rose for real. This time, it’ll be at an exquisite wedding venue and the minister will know how to read. But that’s not all. He wants to give Rose the life he’s always dreamed of: a big house with a picket fence, twin boys, a family dog, and a rock-solid 401K.

But Rose doesn’t seem to want any of it—not even a little. Because it’s not at all the future she covets. In fact, it’s the exact opposite. The thought of a hefty mortgage payment and a mini-van full of children isn’t just suffocating… it’s insufferable.

As the wedding approaches, Cole grows uneasy and can’t help but feel like Rose is hiding something. Despite his suspicions, the day of their wedding arrives without a hitch. The question is, how will the day end?

Pick up your copy of Chasing Love, the epic conclusion to the Clumsy Little Hearts trilogy. While each story can be read as a standalone, common characters are woven throughout each book. Julie Navickas’ stories leave no shortage of heart-stopping plot twists, competing emotions, and soul-crushing decisions. Get your copy today!

Excerpt:
“What time is our appointment again?” Rose stumbled over a crack in the sidewalk. “Oh!” Gripping his arm, she steadied herself against him.

“You okay?” Rose groaned and lifted her leg, revealing a broken flip-flop and a bloody big toe. “Damnit, that hurts!”

Cole winced and guided her to the bench beside them. “Ouch,” he muttered, examining her toe closer. He poked at a piece of the split nail.

“Stop!” She cringed. “You’re going to make it bleed more!”

The pain on her face hurt his heart, but also brought on a small dose of anxiety. Cole flipped his wrist and checked the time. “Do you have a Band-Aid in your purse?” Cole reached for her bag and unzipped it.

“Yes.” She released a slow breath and squeezed her eyes closed. “A Band-Aid isn’t going to fix my shoe though.”

His fingers brushed against her wallet, a hairbrush, and a paperback novel. Cole snorted and pulled everything out and onto his lap. “You seriously carry a book around with you?” He eyed the cover and snorted at the muscular, shirtless man with a sultry stare.

She scowled. “Cole, I’m still bleeding over here.”

“Sorry,” he whispered and set the book aside.

Rose pulled her knee up to her nose and rested her foot on the seat of the bench. Examining the injury closer, she whined. “Check in one of the side pockets. There should be a little baggie.”

Cole continued his search. He pulled out her passport, a handful of tampons, and a plastic egg-shaped container. “Is this candy?”

Rose rolled her eyes, but snorted. “Yes. The kind that prevents pregnancy.”

With a snicker, he set it aside and stuffed his hand back in the bag. Plastic finally touched his fingers, and he gripped the baggie with a handful of varying sizes and shapes of Band-Aids, ointment, gauze, and individually wrapped alcohol wipes. Rose yanked the bag out of his hands.

“It’s like a first aid kit. Why—”

“Cole, I have a career that requires me to hold a knife in my hand for about sixty percent of the day.” She unwrapped an alcohol wipe and cleaned up her toe.

He nodded and the romance novel fell onto the sidewalk. Shirtless Fabio smirked up at the trees. “I hold a mouse,” he muttered and bent over to pick it up. As he leaned forward, a tampon tumbled onto his toe.

Her sudden giggles soothed his soul. Lifting his gaze to meet hers, his heart warmed at the laughter on her lips.

She wrapped her toe in a Band-Aid, but her smile widened.

Cole scooped up the tampon and stuffed it back in her bag, along with all of her other private possessions he’d revealed to the steady stream of folks on the sidewalk.

“I love you,” she whispered and leaned into him. “You always make me laugh.”

He snorted. “I’m glad my idiocy amuses you.”
