Hello... I'm always excited to get to talk with characters from various books. I never know if I'm going to have a doctor, lawyer, police officer, vampire, shifter, or alien in my hot seat! Trust me...Vampires don't like the hot lights! Let's see what Echo has to say! Welcome Echo... 1:How did you first meet your writer? Echo: She saw me one night outside a cathedral several months ago. I killed a demonii. I can assume that demonii are things we need killed, right? 2: Did you ever think that your life would end up being in a book? Echo: No. I mean I was minding my own business, keeping the world safe from those evil, soul-sucking supernatural creatures and then here she comes along, documenting everything. 3: What are your favorite scenes in your book: the action, the dialog or the romance? Echo: The action scenes definitely…hmmm, and getting up close and personal with Aethan. *A smile.* 4. Did you have a hard time convincing your author to write any particular scenes for you? Echo: No, she was totally on board with the one I wanted. It was harder to get my overprotective mate to see that I was stronger and could take on a dangerous demonii—they’re the soul-sucking demons. 5: Do you infiltrate your writer’s dreams? Echo: Oh, I do. When I'm not happy with what she’s done—I find that’s the best way to make her see it my way. 6: Are you happy with the genre your writer has placed you in? Echo: Yup. I love the paranormal world. Heck, I'm mated to an amazing guy…hmmm, no; he’s no guy but an Empyrean angel. And to think I always wanted a normal life. J 7: If you could rewrite anything in your book, what would it be? Echo: In this book…nothing, well, except to get Aethan to see that I’m no longer a frail human, even if I had recently awakened from a long coma. 8: Do you like the way the book ended? Echo: Yep, it ended just perfect. *A blush steals across her face as she smiles* 9: Would you be interested in a sequel, if your writer was so inclined? Echo: Actually this is the sequel. Absolute Surrender is the first book. 10: What is your least favorite characteristic your writer has attributed to you? Echo: I'm too closed up, even to my mate, which I guess it can be attributed to the lousy childhood I had living with an abusive foster family. But I'm learning to open up more with him. *She smiles.* 11: Have you ever thought about getting a tattoo, what would it be and where? If not, what if you had to? Echo: No. I never thought of it. But it seems Fate would give me one... *She rubs her chest.* Thank you Echo for stopping by. Let me share about your book and author with the visitors. After a horrifying incident that left her in a coma for several long months, Echo now has to get used to a different life. As a descendant of a powerful angel, her days waver between training as the new Healer and convincing her mate she’s strong enough to match him in life and in bed. A surprise date night gives her the perfect opportunity to do both. But plans have a way of coming unraveled. One disaster leads to another, and Echo accepts that nothing in their lives will ever be normal. But the biggest revelation of the night comes after she kills a dangerous, soul-sucking demon. Sparks fly between her and her mate, proving that normal is most definitely overrated. BUY LINKS Amazon Nook iBooks Smashwords Kobo EXCERPT: Was he daring her? Echo bit back her own smile. God, she loved this teasing side of him. She hadn't realized just how much she’d missed it. Well, then. She sprinted back, jumped him, and he lost his balance on the soft sand, falling flat on his back with her on top. She had a feeling he’d let her take him down. Whatever. As long as she had him right where she wanted. She sat up, straddling him. “You cut your hair,” he said, fingering her long wispy bangs. She played with a button on his shirt. “Do you like it?” “Always. It is the messiest style ever—” She snorted, he smiled. “But you, my mate, carry it off with flair.” His tone lowered. “Godsdamn, you’re so beautiful…” His hands skimmed from her waist down to the expanse of her thighs, touching her naked skin where her short skirt had ridden up. His gray eyes drifted up her body to linger on her mouth. “And in my favorite position, too. Everything I want is close to my mouth, my hands…” Her heart knocked hard against her ribs. His nearness stirred an ache within her only he could ease, but she pushed it aside for now. She had to talk to him first. “Here on the beach? Nuh-uh, I don’t think so—” “Scared?” His smile was pure temptation. “Hardly.” She sniffed. The fact that he’d even dare suggest this and hope soared—heck, maybe it was the strawberries or the stupid haircut after all. “I refuse to have sand in places where there shouldn’t be any, not when the night’s still young and we have places to go—” Aethan grasped her by the neck and pulled her down to him and kissed her, his tongue tracing the seams of her lips. Just a touch from him and she lit up like tinder. Her mouth parted. His tongue slipped inside, stroking and sucking hers. He was kissing her as if he were starving. Her heart pounded hard, all thoughts fleeing her mind. She squirmed, wanting to get closer, wanting to feel his skin sliding against hers. She kissed him back, just as desperately. His hand slid inside her top, beneath her bra and her breath hitched when he rolled her nipple. A light flow of his power zipped through her body, amping up her arousal. She pulled her mouth from his, panting for breath. “You were saying?” he murmured, a knowing gleam lighting his eyes. ABOUT THE AUTHOR: I’ve been creating stories from the moment I could string two words together. No matter the tale, it always has romance woven through them. Yes, I'm a hopeless romantic. When I’m not writing or plotting new books, I like to read, travel, paint, or troll flea markets where I usually buy things I might never actually use because they're so pretty—who can resist those displays. After working in a few jobs (all art related), a chosen career as a fashion designer, then an art teacher, I finally found my passion nearly five years ago: writing. There really is no other job I’d rather do. Oh, and I hail from the beautiful country of South Africa, and currently live in the Middle East. Have you ever taken a look at a book cover and knew you HAD to read it? What about those books compels you? Tangled in Tennessee is like that for me. I fell in love with the girl among the tall yellow grasses, a big city in the background. Now's your chance to fall in love with more than the cover...Tangled in Tennessee is available for sale! You can read about the complicated relationship between an upcoming singer and the boy band that befriends her. Here's an excerpt.... Mackenzie couldn’t believe what was happening. “Beautiful day outside,” she said to the boy beside her. She stretched her arms out in front of her, hoping she didn’t smell of sweat. “Very, absolutely gorgeous,” he agreed. “It’s really hot.” “Mhm.” “Good for running.” “Yes, very. Quite challenging compared to what I’m used to, but it will be good for the ol’ lungs.” “What are you used to?” Mackenzie asked. “A treadmill,” the boy said with a wink. Mackenzie giggled, pulling her leg up behind her back to stretch out the warmed muscles. Her gaze flickered from the boy doing the same beside her, to the red light she was waiting at. She tried her best to act as normal as possible, not wanting it to be blindingly obvious that she recognized him. The light turned green, the walk sign lit up, and they were off. The boy kept up a quick but steady pace, the breeze ruffling his curly brown hair. One of his iPod headphones was in, the other dangling against his chest, and Mackenzie could just barely hear Will Anderson singing through the speakers. He had good taste. Mackenzie jogged beside him, wondering if he would turn left at the sidewalk or keep going straight. She resisted the urge to pull out her phone and begin madly texting her best friend, trying to seem as cool as a cucumber. She was in Nashville, Tennessee, after all. She was bound to run into some celebrities. All the country artists lived here, and all the other artists wrote here. So far, she hadn’t personally met anyone major, although she had pulled up next to Charles Kelley from Lady Antebellum at a red light and almost caused a car accident. She may or may not have gotten a little too excited and punched the gas. He had only looked slightly terrified. But this time around, it was no big deal. Mackenzie was just jogging beside one fourth of the world famous British boy band, Dear Juliet.
