There is something exciting about a hero firefighter. They are heroes, true heroes, going into burning buildings and extricating people from damaged vehicles. They put their lives on the line. Author Libby Kay's latest series kicks off with a sweet tale of a firefighter and the woman who claims his heart.

WHEN SPARKS FLY is the first book in a new series centered around a small town fire station and the men and women who occupy it. WHEN SPARKS FLY is filled with all the charm of Buckeye Falls (another best selling series by Libby Kay) and the sweet romance that you've been loving!

Available now in ebook and print, WHEN SPARKS FLY will quickly become your new favorite read! So don't miss your chance to fall for the hunky firefighter and the woman who steals his heart.

Blurb:
Romance is in the air with this amazing new series by best-selling author Libby Kay. Pinegrove has it all, sexy firemen, town busybodies, and tons of charm! When these sparks fly a happily ever after is in the cards.

Two broken hearts, one charming small town, and a few sparks may be the recipe for love…

Whitney Kerr is at a crossroads—literally. After jumping behind the wheel to flee Savannah, and a bad breakup, this Southern Belle is in search of a fresh start. Stopping in a charming smalltown seems like the perfect place to catch her breath and find herself. It’s too bad a certain fireman with a crooked grin and kind eyes could have her plans of self-discovery going up in a puff of smoke.

Trevor Mays is at a crossroads—figuratively. Still grieving the loss of his father, he was unceremoniously dumped by his fiancée, who quickly rebounded with his work rival. Just as he thinks things can’t get worse, he loses the captain’s promotion—to the man who stole his ex. He’s about to give up on ever smiling again when a curly-haired beauty with curves for days stumbles into his hometown.

With some help from the residents of Pinegrove, this pair will discover that much like the perfect fireworks show, love only needs a spark.

Fans of Sherryl Woods’ Sweet Magnolias series and Sarah Adams’s When in Rome series will fall in love with Libby Kay’s sweet fireman romance. Ms. Kay’s engaging, cozy stories fill your heart and head with possibilities and will quickly become your new favorite!

EXCERPT
“Thanks for dinner and the walk and the talk.” Whitney seemed flustered, and she couldn’t keep her mouth shut. “I know it was a rough day, but hopefully it ended on a high note.”

Trevor closed the distance in two strides. Reaching up, he tucked a curl behind her ear. His finger grazed her ear lobe as he pulled back, and she shivered. Every cell in his body was on alert at Whitney’s proximity. “Tonight was perfect. I can hardly remember why my day sucked.”

The admission came easily, and he was incredibly grateful at his mother’s matchmaking skills. “I’m glad.” Whitney breathed, goosebumps erupting down her neck.

“Good night, darlin’. I’ll see you soon.”

“See you,” she agreed.

Trevor strode to his car and got behind the wheel with a lightness in his step. When the day had started, he’d been certain it would end in disaster. Yet now, with Whitney in town, things just felt better … more hopeful. He hadn’t realized until he parked his car that he’d been singing along to the radio the whole drive home. Yeah, Trevor was going to be all right.

Blurb:
When a sexy fireman and a sassy filmmaker’s worlds collide, can they stand still long enough to let love ignite, or will their instinct to run keep them from the one thing worth fighting for?

Luke Cappelli is the ultimate bachelor. He’s never stuck around longer than one night, and no woman has ever tempted him to. Until Bella. With a face that rivaled an angel’s and a mouth that could make a sinner blush, it was like she was created especially for him. Which is why committing to a few weeks of fun felt easy. But when it came time for her to leave, Luke realized letting her go wasn’t just hard—it was impossible.

Bella had one job. Deliver a letter: that’s it. Easy. She’d be in and out of Woodvalley Pines faster than you could say “howdy”. Well, that was the plan anyway. Until she came face to face with broody firefighter, Luke Cappelli. With a sarcastic remark for every occasion and enough red flags to fill a parade, the man had heartbreaker written all over him. It didn’t matter, though, because their time together had an expiry date, which was for the best. Wasn’t it?

Fans of Not the Marrying Kind by Kathryn Nolan or Hot in Here by Sophie Renwick will be enthralled by Isobel Reed’s sassy romances with witty dialogue and swoon-worthy happily-ever-afters. Grab a tall glass of water, find a cozy spot, and dive into HOTHEAD—a romance too sizzling to put down!

Excerpt
“My name’s Bella.” A faint smile began to curve her lips. “I worked with your brother. Well, half brother, I guess. Marco. Marco Cappelli.”

He didn’t know what was making his stomach churn more, those glittering eyes, that smile, or hearing that name again. After all this time.

Then something clicked. “You said was … was a friend—what does that mean?”

He immediately regretted asking as he witnessed her spark slowly dull and anguish seep into every pore.

Chatter in the background came to a stop. The whole main floor was eerily quiet. So quiet he heard the footsteps of his friends as they began to scatter, pretending to busy themselves. He didn’t miss that they were all still very much within earshot.

Nosy bastards.

Another step closer and something that smelled a lot like wild berries hit the back of his throat.

“Marco died. Two months ago,” she announced.

His stomach was no longer churning. It was spasming from the punch to the gut he’d just received. Marco was fucking dead? How the hell could he be dead?

You have an audience. Get your shit together.

It was getting harder and harder to think straight. He needed to get out of there before he asked the questions he didn’t even know that he wanted answers to. This time his facial expressions weren’t neutral, they were blanked as he took another step toward the heavenly being before him, ignoring the berries and closing what little distance was left between them.

“Why are you here?”

Her chin lifted while his dipped. Holy hell. How was it possible that a woman who had the face of an angel could inspire so much fucking sin? Especially now. Corrupting her is the last thing he should be thinking about.

Talk about not the fucking time. Maybe concentrate on the pounding in your ears first, man?

“Your brother sent me.”

“My dead brother sent you?” He felt one eyebrow quirk up. “No. Wait. Don’t tell me … you’re here to bridge the gap between the living and the dead. Relay a message to me from beyond the grave? All for the bargain price of ninety-nine ninety-five.”

His sarcastic reply didn’t exactly elicit the reaction he was expecting. Bella’s mouth stretched so wide in response that he got his first glimpse of straight white teeth.

Her teeth had to be perfect too, didn’t they?

“Marco was right about you.”

That jolted him back to reality.

“Look, lady—”

“Bella,” she corrected.

“Look, Bella, I don’t know exactly what Marco told you, but—”

“I have a letter,” she cut him off again. Was it him, or did she look like she was enjoying this a bit too much? “He left you a letter.”

Luke lost her eyes for a moment as she reached around and pulled out an envelope from her back pocket.

“I don’t care if you’ve got a damn book, lady—”

“Bella,” she corrected again.

Seriously? Is this chick for real?

ABOUT THE AUTHOR-
Isobel was born and raised in London. While she’s a city girl at heart, she loves daydreaming about running away to a charming small town—though she’s not entirely sure her husband and son would share her enthusiasm for the move. When she’s not writing small-town romantic comedies or growing unhealthily attached to the characters in her books, you can find her reading, chasing after her very active toddler, or attempting to channel her inner domestic goddess in the kitchen (with varying degrees of success).

Known for her witty dialogue and swoon-worthy small-town heroes, Isobel signed with Inkspell Publishing in 2021. The following year, she released Love Tools, the first book in her four-book Bluestone Series. In early 2024, she launched Toasted, the debut novel of her seven-book Love Burns Series, which will roll out over the next year.

Small Town Romance Cover Reveal #comingsoon #newromance

Small town wedding planner hasn't found her own happily ever after... but in PLANNING ON HAPPILY EVER AFTER, she finally gets her chance.

I love small town romances. They are so fun. I grew up in a small town and moved to one when my kids were little. There is something about being in a place where you can walk around outside safely and know your neighbors. Sure, those neighbors can be nosey but I'm so glad to know that people are watching over us.

Author Sydney Scott has a new romance coming May 6th! It's the second book in her Sunset Cove series and features a few of the secondary characters from her first book- Passion and Pastries. But you don't have to have read the first book to enjoy PLANNING ON HER HAPPILY EVER AFTER. Don't miss your chance to preorder this book today!

Blurb:
Return to Sunset Cove…where small town romance and family responsibilities collide. Can a wedding planner create her own perfect romance?

Holly Baker has spent most of her life obsessed with love and finding her very own happily ever after. The perpetually optimistic wedding planner always thought she would end up with someone exactly like her: cheery and always looking for the silver lining in the storm clouds. Little did Holly know that she would literally run into one of those storm clouds in the form of Ben, her newest client’s son.

Ben Williams has always shied away from socializing, preferring to stay in the comfort of his home and design video games. When his mother asks him to help her plan her wedding, he can’t say no to the one person who has always been there for him. Fortunately, the beautiful, sunny wedding planner he can’t stop thinking about not only makes socializing easy, but also makes it something he looks forward to.

As Holly and Ben get acquainted, the two are drawn to each other more and more. Can a perpetually optimistic lover of love convince a grumpy game designer to give their relationship a shot, or will Ben decide that it’s game over before they even begin?

If you love The Sweetheart Fix by Miranda Liasson or The Bluff by Emma St. Claire, you’ll fall for Holly and Ben in Planning on Happily Ever After as they find love despite their differences. Author Sydney Scott weaves a romance sure to get the small-town gossips whispering. Snuggle in to read today!

There  was  a time when Caroline would’ve done anything for her former sweetheart, Eric Martin.

That’s why she agreed to marry him.

Six  years  ago,  Caroline faced a dire ultimatum from Eric’s mother. Marry Eric, and Stacy—Eric’s conniving girlfriend—gets the life-saving operation she needs. Out of love, Caroline agreed, hoping that in time, she and Eric would be able to rekindle the spark they once shared.
But that hope was in vain. Since that fateful day, Eric has harbored nothing but brutal resentment for Caroline; the last six years of marriage have been a nightmare.

As  their  marriage  descends deeper into emotional warfare, Caroline receives a shocking, tragic diagnosis of her own.

While  Caroline  quietly  prepares for the end, an all-too-familiar face returns—with a devastating secret to reveal.

With time running out, the question remains: Will Eric finally see Stacy for who she is, or will everything fall apart before Caroline’s last breath?

Excerpt

He strokes the picture of him and Stacy as one would a beloved child or wife.

“Get it into your head, Caroline, this photo is important to me.”
While I’m not.

Anger flares at his unspoken words, heat stinging my cheeks.

He places the photo on the table.

I’ve a notion to swat it off to get a reaction from him, to let him know I exist, but I won’t. Another argument that leads to more icy indifference on his part isn’t how I want these moments to go.

Refusing to meet my gaze, he steps away from me. “Mess with my things again and I’ll make sure you regret it.”

Good god, after what we once shared we’ve come to this?

“I’ll regret it how? You’ll tear up my photos of Mom? You’ll throw out the jewelry she left me?”

He strides toward the front door.

I cry out, “Do you hate me so much?” My voice catches and trembles. “Do you?”
He stops, shoulders tightened, fists clenched.

Here it comes.

I brace myself for his verbal assault and talk fast. “The picture falling was an accident. I got dizzy and gripped the table. The picture—”

“Stop it.” Back at my side, he grips my shoulders, his features tight from indignation. “I’ve had it with your damn lies.”

“What are you talking about? I’m not lying. It was an accident.”

He digs his fingers into my shoulders.
I wince. “Stop it. You’re hurting me.”

His face changes, surprise replacing his anger. He loosens his grip but doesn’t let go.

“You expect me to believe your lies?” His voice couldn’t be colder or harder. “Especially after what you’ve always done to me?”

He’s not making sense. “What I’ve always done to you? I haven’t done— Eric, please, listen to me. I went to the hospital today and the doctor said…”

The words are on the tip of my tongue, yet I can’t force them out. They’re too vile.
“What?” His frown deepens. “Go on.”

Unable to, I shake my head.

“That’s what I thought.” He releases me, disgust in his gaze. “Spare me the theatrics. I’m not playing your games any longer. Never again.”

“But—”

His ringtone sounds, interrupting me. He pushes past, his arm knocking mine. The doctor’s report falls from my grip and floats to the floor, coming to a rest near his shoe.
He doesn’t notice, his full attention on the phone display.

I edge closer then freeze at Stacy’s picture.

She’s back?
She’s calling him?

My stomach drops, my skin crawling. Everything Stacy did to me floods back. Her ruthless betrayal when we’d been BFFs. Her poisoning Eric against me when he and I had once been in love. I still don’t know how she managed that with him. One day he and I were planning our future and in the next he was at Stacy’s side, wanting her and looking at me as if I was poison.

She can’t be back. I refuse to go through her shit again.

“Stacy?” With the phone to his ear, Eric turns away from me. “What’s wrong?”

Whatever it is, I’m certain it’s a lie he’ll believe. She was always good at convincing everyone, except me, of whatever she said.

“Don’t worry, please.” Eric’s voice couldn’t be softer, more protective. “I’ll be right there. I’ll make certain everything’s all right.”

He ends the call and hurries toward the front door.

I catch up and clasp his wrist.

“Eric, don’t go. Please.”

I hate to beg — at one time in my life I would have been ashamed to do so — but that’s not now. I need him here. With Mom gone, he and his mother Alice are the only family I have left. I don’t want to call her. Mom’s death was devastating enough for Alice. As for relying on a friend… Stacy made certain friendships were toxic.

“Stay here.” I caress his wrist. “We need to talk. I… I have something important to tell you.”

About Tina:

Tina’s an Amazon and international bestselling novelist who writes passionate romance for every taste – ‘heat with heart’ – for traditional publishers and indie. Booklist, Publisher’s Weekly, Romantic Times and numerous online sites have praised her work. She’s won Readers’ Choice Awards, was named a finalist in the EPIC competition, received a Book of the Year award, The Golden Nib Award, awards of merit in the RWA Holt Medallion competitions, and second place in the NEC RWA contests. She’s featured in the Novel & Short Story Writer’s Market. Before penning romances, she worked at a major Hollywood production company in Story Direction.

On a less serious note: she’s an admitted and unrepentant chocoholic, brakes for Mexican restaurants, and has been known to moan like Meg Ryan in When Harry Met Sally while wolfing down tostadas. She’s flown a single-engine airplane (freaking scary), rewired an old house using an ‘electricity for dummies’ book, and is horribly shy despite the hot romances she writes.
