The third installment in the hilarious Night at the Museum movie series will not disappoint fans. I’m giving it a B+. There’s something you can count on with the Night at the Museum movies…Ben Stiller, laugh out loud moments and a happy ending. This time the tablet is corroding and Larry has to travel to England to find out the secret of the tablet before the magic disappears. All of your favorite characters are back as well as a few new ones. Rebel Wilson joins the cast as the night guard at the British Museum, and there’s a sexy Sir Lancelot with the bluest eyes! The theme in the movie is about fathers and sons. There’s the conflict between Larry and his now teenage son, as well as a new Neanderthal who thinks Larry is his Dada. I’m going to admit that I cried. Robin Williams’ scenes are poignant with his passing this year. His words about keeping the magic alive could have come from the man himself. Truly an amazing actor and one that is missed. Night at the Museum is sure to be a hit among any age group and a fun movie for the whole family. |
